Removals from the UK to Spain
Moving to Spain from the UK is one of the routes we run most — sun, a slower pace, family already out there. We handle international removals UK to Spain end to end, from the survey in your UK home to the delivery on the Costa.
People move to Spain for good reasons — we just carry the load
Warmer winters and a gentler pace draw people to the coast; work and study pull others to the cities. Some are joining family already settled out there, others are retiring to a place they have holidayed in for years. Whatever is taking you, the move itself should be the easy part — and that is our half of it.
The route to Spain
Spain is a road move, and a long one. We collect from your UK address and cross the Channel from Kent, then drive down through France before crossing into Spain and heading for your region. The mainland destinations — the Costa Blanca around Alicante, the Costa del Sol around Málaga and Marbella, Barcelona and Catalonia, Madrid in the centre, and Valencia on the east coast — are all reached by road. For the Balearics, the mainland leg is followed by a ferry across to Mallorca, Menorca or Ibiza, which we build into the plan from the start.

Spain — good to know
Questions people ask about moving to Spain
What has changed about moving personal belongings from the UK to Spain after Brexit?
The move is now a customs export, so your household goods need a customs declaration and a detailed, valued inventory. Most people relocating can apply for Transfer of Residence relief, which can remove duty and tax on used personal belongings where you qualify. We prepare the paperwork and tell you what you need to supply, such as proof you are settling in Spain — you are not left to work it out alone.
How do you reach the Balearic islands?
The mainland leg is driven through France and down into Spain, and then your goods take a ferry across to Mallorca, Menorca or Ibiza. We factor the sailing into the plan and the timing, so an island move is handled as one job rather than dropped at a mainland port.
Is a part-load worth it for a smaller move to Spain?
Often, yes. If you are moving an apartment-worth of belongings rather than a whole house, sharing a lorry with other moves heading to Spain means you pay for the space you use. The trade-off is a scheduled collection and delivery window rather than a fixed slot, and we will tell you honestly whether a part-load or a dedicated vehicle suits your move better.
When will my things arrive?
Spain is a long haul by road, and the honest answer is that it depends — on the route, on whether you share or take a dedicated load, and on how customs clearance goes at the border. We give you an estimated window in your written quote rather than a promise we cannot keep, and we keep you updated as the move runs.
