Germany is reached overland through the Low Countries. We collect from your UK home, cross the Channel from Kent, and drive through the Netherlands and Belgium before joining the German autobahn network, which carries us on to Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart or wherever you are settling. It is a well-trodden corridor for us, and a predictable one — which is exactly what you want when you have a start date to hit. Transit times still depend on the route, the crossing, and how customs clearance goes, so your written quote gives you an estimated window rather than a promise we cannot keep.
Customs, handled for you
Moving your home into Germany is a customs export since Brexit, which in practice means a valued inventory of what you are shipping, a customs declaration, and — for most people relocating — an application for Transfer of Residence relief that can lift duty and tax on your used personal belongings where you qualify. We prepare it all and tell you the few things only you can provide, such as evidence you are moving to the German address. Whatever the German authorities may charge is separate from our quote, and we will not invent a figure to make the sums look neater.

A dedicated vehicle gives the tightest schedule; a part-load costs less but sits within a delivery window. We will set out both plainly so you can choose what fits your timing.
Can you move a single room or a small flat rather than a whole house?
We can. Smaller moves to Germany usually travel as a part-load, sharing space with other consignments heading the same way, so you only pay for the room you take up. It is a common way to move for a job or a study placement, and we handle it with the same care as a full household.
